This counted cross stitch clothespin angel with a cardinal was a quick and fun little project. My grandmother was from Kentucky, and the state bird is the northern cardinal. She had cardinal-themed decor around her house, so this one was a bit of nostalgia for me. It has a small gold cord hanging from its gold wings so you can use it as an ornament if you like.
I bought the kit from either Joanne's or Michael's probably over a decade ago. It's from Designs For The Needle, and I don't know how easy it is to find. But as of this writing, I see one listing at Amazon. You may also be able to find a kit at Etsy or eBay. Happy stitching!
